Newsletter #3

June is in full swing and it’s time to start thinking about ways to cool off this summer.

Our newest product, the Katana Bamboo Bong, was crafted to address the problem of glass bongs constantly breaking and to bring us closer together by creating a sense of community. Our 16-inch bong utilizes bamboo, a raw, fast-growing, and eco-friendly material, and longan wood to craft the downstem and leaf bowl. Our aspiration at Terratokes is to form a community dedicated to exploring the planet and smoking in an environmentally friendly way.

Our newsletter is aimed at helping you maximize your cannabis experience.

Smoking Tip of the Day

Next time you’re enjoying your Katana bamboo bong, consider adding ice-cold water to your bong and an infused ice cube to the built-in ice catcher!  Making infused ice cubes to use in both your bong as well as your drinks is a fun way to stay cool. Using fresh and ideally filtered water, use any ice cube tray you’d like with fresh fruit or dried herbs to create your beautiful and flavorful ice cubes. Here at Terratokes, we encourage use to use whatever you have on hand, but we love to use dried lavender or rose petals for a unique take.

Enjoy, and stay cool this summer! For more smoking tips, check out the Terratokes blog where we tell you how to keep your bong clean and other helpful tips and discount codes!

Edible Recipe: Watermelon Salad

On the topic of staying cool this summer, watermelon is an in-season summertime classic that is both delicious and refreshing. Dice your watermelon and add lime juice, balsamic, mint, and even feta cheese if you’d like. To add a cannabis-infused twist, infuse the salad with an oil or tincture. A recommended pairing is Avexia THCA Tincture in blackberry mint for an added layer of fruit and mint.

Dry Herb Strains to Try with The Katana

Shoutout to Leafly for the strain descriptions!

~White Widow: White Widow is a hybrid weed strain made from the genetic cross between a Brazilian sativa landrace and a resin-heavy South Indian indica. As one of the most famous strains worldwide, White Widow’s potency offers both euphoria and energy breaks. The effects are said to be energetic, talkative, and creative. The flavor profile is woody, spicy/herbal, and earthy and its buds appear fluffy with a white crystal resin.

~Lemon Cherry Gelato: Made from a cross between Sunset Sherbet and Girl Scout Cookies, Lemon Cherry Gelato has uplifting and pleasant flavors and effects. The effects are tingly, relaxed, and euphoric. The aroma is that of citrus and berries, so it’s an ideal strain to pair with the woody flavor of the Katana!

~Granddaddy Purple: Grandaddy Purp is a famous Indica cross of Mendo Purps, Skunk, and Afghanistan. A California staple, this weed strain has a complex grape and berry aroma and comes in shades of purple with dustings of white crystal resin. This strain helps ease pain and stress but also offers relaxing effects for both new and experienced cannabis users.
